SE72: Contribution of rock and mineral magnetism to the characterization
of environmental change and the effect of natural and human activities to it
=======================

The last decade has yielded studies that applied rock and mineral
magnetism to the characterization of environmental change ranging from
pollution and waste monitoring to proxy indicator of climate change
popularizing the term environmental magnetism. Recent progress in rock
magnetic instrumentation and methodology as well as better theoretical
understanding, especially, in fine grained magnetism, are believed to
drive more rock and mineral magnetic research in environmental studies.
This session invites general contributions relevant to these developments
